In the Footsteps of St Paul

Following in the footsteps of St Paul, this journey explores the regions of Anatolia closely associated with the apostle’s life and missionary travels. From Tarsus, his birthplace, and Antioch, an important centre of the early Church, the route takes in key sites linked to his journeys through Asia Minor, including Perge, Pisidian Antioch, Iconium (Konya), Lystra and the landscapes of Lycaonia, before reaching Ephesus, where Paul spent several years and established one of the most important early Christian communities.

Beyond the archaeological sites themselves, the journey places the accounts of the New Testament within their historical and geographical setting, revealing the cities, roads and cultures that shaped the spread of Christianity across ancient Anatolia.
